Great roman-style pizza place for a quick slice. The mortadella slice is amazing; a soft cheesy crust topped with mortadella, a hearty amount of mascarpone and pistachio. The potato slice is also very herbal and nice. The customer service is exceptional. They’re very friendly and professional. They didn’t have a potato slice ready but when we asked they offered to make it. It didn’t take that long and we had a fresh slice.
I stopped by Pala148 and tried their Roman-style pizza — specifically the pistachio mortadella slice — and it was fantastic. The creamy stracciatella cheese paired perfectly with the rich mortadella and crunchy pistachios. The dough was light, airy, and super easy to eat — not heavy at all. They even offered complimentary olives on the side, and the staff were super nice and friendly. A great spot if you’re looking for authentic Roman pizza in the city!
When we got back from a trip to Italy we were looking for a place to get authentic pizza like we had there and Pala 148 did that perfectly! The slice was amazing, reasonably priced and it reminded me of Rome! It's a small eatery with limited seating but the staff are very friendly and quick.
